A little rubbing on the clutch

In tests on the vehicle a slight resistance was observed in the clutch maneuver . This resistance was not perceptible to disengage , but it felt as if the clutch pedal will be slightly hooked. With the box removed and clutch changes in sight it was time to inspect the set .


We see that the fork that pulls the clutch bearing has slight wear .

With a flat file and wrist is enough to grind the stumps push .


Ground and polished fork thrust.


If you have to act on the changes or the clutch is advisable to check this piece as this can solve problems of lack of smoothness in the clutch.













As we take the box out we replace the O-ring that acts as a buffer in the actuator shaft overdrive .


Recent details mount shifter selectors .



No rush , experience and good work of Gonzalo advised to wait ...A point to be mounted back on the chassis, power cables overdrive actuation of sight, with the box of oil remains suspended for 24 hours to identify any loss of tightness.



Noting the slightest loss of oil.



After a few days of observation even a tendency to " sweat" oil at the joint between the gearbox and overdrive is observed.



If stopped " sweats " what will hot ? .

27 - . Gearbox - disassembly

Return to start .... bell out again and gearbox out , you can see the diaphragm clutch flywheel .

A starting point to dismantle the set .



The gear system . Had it not been for the loss of oil we had not opened the box , because it works perfectly , no noise, no pulls and marches come very gently. Yet now that it is removed take the opportunity to replace timing gears .








Vision rear bearing retainer and front and rear and front , one of those responsible for the loss of oil besides the joints.



 









Vision emsamblaje with overdrive , it is important to proceed carefully disassembling to avoid losing sight of the springs and since the objective is reassembling the same ...


























As the Romans said " Alea iacta est"






















New material ready to be mounted : bearings , impellers , seals , circlips and pressure transfer axis :

Set of game pieces with new gaskets.
